Ritelite 18mm Mini Sonde

The sleek and slim design of the Ritelite 18mm Mini Sonde means that it’s the ideal attachment to navigate narrow pipes, ducts, and bends while larger sondes would get jammed. Utility location, maintenance, and pipe tracing are significantly simplified by the compact profile of this mini sonde.

It transmits a 33kHz (32.768kHz) signal which can easily be detected by Cable Avoidance Tools (CAT) and Signal Generators (Genny) to locate the exact location of the mini sonde, up to 7 meters deep. Connect it to the Ritelite Cobra rodding systems and receive transmissions even through non-conductive systems such as plastic, clay, or concrete.

This mini sonde is constructed from high-impact ABS plastic and stainless steel to ensure that it can withstand demanding environments. It features an IP68 waterproof rating, meaning that it can be submerged in water, dirt, and silt. It can operate in temperatures ranging from -20°C to +55°C & still perform reliably.

All it takes to power this mini sonde is two LR44 alkaline batteries, providing 8 to 10 hours of continuous runtime. This means you can use it all day on the site without it failing.
