Plaster cracks for a wide range of reasons. Ensuring that a proper reinforcement layer is placed on the inside of your base coat is possible with ProSolve 1m x 50m Render Mesh. This can mean the difference between the damage peeking out after a couple of weeks or months, or a long-term job that was done right from the start.

This fibreglass grid offers incredible strength and is layered into the base coat plaster and external renders. It ensures that cracks are contained and don’t spread, thanks to the 160gsm density. The 4 mm x 4 mm grid pattern allows it to be flexible around corners, and the quantity on the roll provides ample mesh, meaning that you can cover large sections of wall in a streamlined fashion and only cut the mesh when windows, doors, or other openings are encountered.

Resistant To Alkali

Standard fibreglass won’t hold up to the harsh environment created while cement and renders cure. The ProSolve Mesh is specifically engineered with an alkali-resistant coating to ensure that it can withstand this alkali reaction during the curing process. This durability carries through to the end product, where it offers superior strength.

Streamlined Work Process

This 50m roll only weighs 7kg, making it lightweight enough to carry up scaffolding. It’s also easy enough to roll out without curling in on itself again. This significantly simplifies the process of laying the mesh onto the base coat. Once it’s in place, it can be imbedded in place with a notch trowel. The edges need to be overlapped by about 100 mm, then you can simply skim over it.
